Phil has a passion for supporting others to improve their services and believes that change leaders should feel supported as they do so. Phil has included mentorship sessions for change agents to ensure that they build on their foundational knowledge for Heart4Change© approach, as well as receive individualised support tailored to their own change project.

Compassion8©
Compassion8© provides an educational approach that helps participants to apply a new model that ensures compassionate leadership is at the heart of what your organisation offers. This model will help you to identify core objectives to become a compassionate organisation, based on an internal and external appraisal factors illuminated by working with the Compassion8© approach.
We provide introductory to advanced products, culminating in a train the trainer based approach to equip key staff in your organisation to lead the drive towards compassionate practice within every interaction across your organisation.
Compassion8© live introductory course ( 1 hour) starts on Friday 7th March 2025 and is open to book now through the appointments tab.
This will be available on a weekly basis.
Suicide Prevention Training
Suicide Prevention Training 1 hour introductory session will commence in February 2025. This will enable participants to understand the main principles of the Heart4Change© Suicide Prevention Approach, as well as begin thinking about how to improve quality of suicide approach as an individual and possible as an organisation. This will be available as a weekly session.
1-1 Suicide Prevention Mentoring
Receive 1-1 mentoring or consider organisation wide mentorship with a proven suicide prevention model. New educational products have been included are will commence in February 2025

Bespoke Corporate Consultation
Should you believe that your organisation may benefit from any of the educational and service development packages on offer, please do get in touch to discuss onsite consultation. Phil has developed as a Change Agent over 35 years of practice, predominantly in the UK NHS. Phil has a background as a mental health nurse, working in a variety of setting to improve sustainable quality improvements in care.

Phil has developed as a Change Agent over 35 years of practice, predominantly in the UK NHS. Phil has a background as a mental health nurse, working in a variety of setting to improve sustainable quality improvements in care.
Phil has a passion to see service improvements that reduce risk of harm whilst also improving the experience of care delivery for patients and staff.
Phil has produced a significant portfolio of work, being involved in change projects as a lead for change from short term to longer term projects. Phil has worked to a national level as a project lead, as well as working on regional and local projects to improve an aspect of care.
Phil has identified through his experiences that change initiatives may struggle or falter when 'heart issues' associated with those will be the potential change adopters are not directly attended to. Furthermore there is a need for further support to the change leader or change agent to enable them to spearhead the change project and lead the team to a successful outcome.
PERSONAL BIO
Phil, our director and lead trainer, is married with one daughter, living in the North West of England. Phil is keen on walking and has a dog (Sandy) who makes sure that this happens at least once a day.
Phil is a keen sports person ( more watching than playing these days), mostly being involved with football and cricket in younger days. Phil is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa F.C.
Phil loves learning and taking on new challenges and is excited about this new chapter of his career. Phil has recently retired from working in the NHS full -time, dedicating more of his time now to support the change leaders ( Change Agents ) of the future to achieve important care outcomes for those who need their compassion and service. Phil has always enjoyed innovative new ways of working to challenge the way we do things and improve care for the most vulnerable people in our communities
